Custom knife maker Christoph Gihring of Forge Works in Freiburg im Breisgau briefly puts the tradition of Bollenhut, cherry cake and cuckoo clock to rest – and leaves the field to the timeless Böker Plus Sentinal.
As a fixed knife for everyday use, the Sentinal impresses with its Clippoint blade made of Swedish 14C28N–steel, which are characterized by high Incision retention and corrosion resistance scores. The smoky Stonewash-Finish reduces scratches and signs of wear. The stable full-tang construction with a continuous tang ensures that tasks such as cutting boxes, carving wood or cutting ropes playfully go by the hand.
The lightweight handle shells made of black G10 offer a secure grip even in wet and cold conditions. The fine texture increases grip, and the screwed shells can be easily removed for easy cleaning. Purists can even transform the Sentinal into an uncompromising skeleton knife.
With its slim silhouette, the space-saving backup knife is ideal for outdoor, hunting, camping and hiking. For safe and convenient transport, a fitting Kydex sheath including belt clip is included.

Warnings and safety information:
Lacerations: The most common hazard when using knives is the risk of lacerations. Sharp blades can penetrate skin and tissue quickly.
Knife slipping: Improper or excessive pressing can cause the knife to slip and cause uncontrolled movements that can cause injury.
Fall injuries: Knives should never be placed unsecured or near table edges to prevent them from falling and injuring someone.
Blunt knives: Blunt knives pose a greater risk of injury because they require more force and can slip off more easily. Knives should therefore be properly resharpened regularly.
Unintended use: Using a knife for tasks for which it is not intended (e.g. as a prying tool) can not only damage the blade but also lead to accidents.
